Port Isaac fishing boats

Watercolour and coloured pencil

September 21, 2020

I sat for 3 hrs capturing this scene on a sunny September day on the right hand side of the harbout looking out to the mouth of the breakwater. I was mobbed by one seagul who took a liking to my colourful paints who thought he'd take a bite. I beat him off with a paintbrush! The extremes of colour and contrast are a joy there. You could paint the harbour a hundred times and still not tire of it.
