Rock sailing club mooring

Watercolour

September 16, 2020

A plethora of boats were beached just below the sailing club in Rock in Cornwall, UK. The light was very bright with lots of lovely shadows of the boats masts on the sand. A local swan conveniently swam in my view on the rivulets so I managed to get him in to the painting. The boats in the painting ar Cornish Cobles that my brother in law Paul used to own up in Scotland. Wonderful gaff rigged boats they are and a treat to paint. I cant resist a boat when I have a brush in my hand!
